On Sunday, OTT giant Sony Liv unveiled the teaser of their upcoming series Scam 1992 which is directed by Hansal Mehta. This series tells the story of Harshad Mehta into the limelight and is based on a book called ‘The Scam’ written by Debashis Basu and Sucheta Dalal. Harshad Mehta is a stockbroker who rose to fame because of a scam he was involved in.

Abhishek Bachchan ’s upcoming film Big Bull, all set to release on Disney + Hotstar, is also about the same person. Directed by Kookie Gulati, Big Bull is produced by
Ajay Devgn, Anand Pandit, and Vikrant Sharma. This film is also based on Harshad Mehta’s life only.
Initially, Big Bull was slated to release in the theatres only. But due to the pandemic, which forced the lockdown on us, the film will release directly on a digital platform sans theatrical release.
The official streaming date of Big Bull is yet to be announced. Abhishek Bachchan is currently recovering from the effects of COVID-19 and basking on the success of Breathe 2: Into the Shadows in which he played someone who is suffering from bipolar disorder. We all have to wait to see which project in between Scam 1992 and Big Bull will get more attention.
