Stars from Kollywood have won a number of significant awards in the 68th National Awards, which were announced today. Suriya, an actor, earned the National Award for Best Actor for his outstanding performance in Sudha Kongara's "Soorarai Pottru," which also took home awards for Best Screenplay, Best Background Score, and Best Film.
At the 68th National Awards, Kollywood won ten awards, and since then, congratulations from fans and famous people have flooded social media. While "Soorarai Pottru" won four awards, "Mandela," directed by Madonna Ashwin and starring Yogi Babu, received the National Award for Best Dialogue in addition to the National Award for Best Debut Director. For her part in "Sivaranjiniyum Innum Sila Pengalum," actress Lakshmi Priya Chandramouli got the National Award for Best Supporting Actress, and editor Sreekar Prasad won the National Award for Best Editor.
