10 years of Paa: Taking a look back at Amitabh Bachchan's incredible transformation into Auro

Paa came out way back in 2009 but even after a decade since its release it is still one of the most influential films of the past decade. Paa featured Amitabh Bachchan in perhaps one of his hardest roles. Bacchan portrayed a child named Auro who suffers from a rare genetic disorder called Progeria, which accelerates the aging process in children. The film also had Abhishek Bacchan and Vidya Balan portraying the parents of Auro.

The film was widely acclaimed for its fantastic portrayal of the child without demeaning it in any way. Amitabh's makeup to become Paa also surprised everyone when it was first shown to the public. Now after 10 years since it's release, Vidya Balan who is currently busy shooting for Shakuntla Devi took to her instagram handle to express her wonder and excitement. She wrote, 'can you believe it' and shared a few pictures from the film's set. Twitter also is trending with '10 years of Paa'. Bachchan himself shares various pictures from the film.
