According to the trade reports, the film collected 1.4 crores on day 14th worldwide. The total box office collection in Tamil Nadu is around Rs 68 crores. The worldwide total gross stands at 89 crores. By the time of closing, it will collect 100 crores as per reports.
The movie has already made more than double its budget. The producers have announced it a blockbuster. They have also thrown a huge party to celebrate. At the movie's victory party, the filmmakers also announced the sequel to "Sardar.
At the box office, Sivakarthikeyan's Prince and Mohanlal's Monster are rivals of Karthi's Sardar. GV Prakash Kumar is the composer of the film's music. In addition to Karthi, Raashi Khanna, and Rajisha Vijayan, Laila is also acting in the movie. Sardar is the debut Tamil film of Bollywood actor Chunky Pandey, who also has a significant role in the movie.
