Ginna, a romantic comedy-drama starring Telugu actor and producer Vishnu Manchu, was launched in theatres today, October 21. Eeshaan Suryaah directs the film.
The film is also available in dubbed Hindi and Malayalam versions, as well as Telugu, throughout the country. Ginna Bhai was the title of the Hindi version of this comedic entertainment.
The film stars Vivek Manchu as the titular character, and it also marks the return to the big screen of actress Sunny Leone alongside him, following the 2019 Hindi comic parody film Arjun Patiala. Ginna also marks the Hindi debut of Paayal Rajput, of "RX 100" fame, who plays the film's other female protagonist.
The film earned Rs 0.58 Crore at the box office worldwide in week 1. The movie made Rs 0.54 Crore from Andhra Pradesh and Telangana combined. The film brought in Rs 12 Lakhs on day 1, and on day 2 the figure was Rs 10 Lakhs. For day 3 the figure was Rs 8 Lakhs. The film’s day 4 collection stood at Rs 11 Lakhs. The day 5 collection was Rs 7 Lakhs and the Day 6 collection was Rs 4 Lakhs. Day 7 collection was 2 Lakhs. The breakeven point for the film is Rs 4.00 Crore.
