His ex-wife Dalljiet Kaur, in what appears to be a response to the same, resorted to social media to show her support for Shalin.

In last night's show, the actor who played Grihasti broke down when everyone formed their own groups and isolated him. Priyanka and Tina even attempted to corner and provoke him. But Dalljiet stunned everyone by using Instagram to demonstrate her support for her ex-husband. She put to rest all the rumours about his past life and comments.
On her Instagram account, she posted a lovely picture of her and her son Jaydon. She added, “Last few weeks left for Bigg Boss to get over. I wish you all the best Shalin. Be patient, be calm & stay strong”.
Readers will likely recall that Dalljiet Kaur has shown her support for Shalin on the show before as well. Last month, the television actress used social media to send him her best wishes and to offer him encouragement for a successful run on the show.
